Everything to do with car keys
Five things on the side of the van, all done at your door. Pick the one that sounds like your problem, or just ring and describe it.
Key cutting
Blades cut to code from your existing key, or decoded from the door lock if you've nothing left to copy. Plain keys, flip-key blades and emergency blades for keyless fobs.
Key cloning
The transponder chip inside a modern key is what lets the engine start. Ian copies that chip onto a new key so your spare works everywhere the original does – often the quickest and cheapest way to a second key.
Key programming
When a key can't be cloned, or you've lost the lot, Ian uses diagnostic equipment to program a new key, remote or fob directly to the car – and remove any keys that have gone missing.
Keyless entry
Proximity keys and smart fobs for push-button-start cars. Replacements supplied and programmed, and dead ones replaced.
Fob repairs
Cracked cases, worn buttons, broken blades and flat batteries fixed. Often cheaper than a new key, and you keep your original programming.

Makes and models
Ian covers virtually every make of car and small van sold in the UK. The honest exceptions:
- Mercedes from 2014 onwards need the main dealer.
- Range Rover Vogue and Range Rover Sport – Ian doesn't work on these.
- Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery – yes up to 2018, dealer after that. Freelanders are fine, any year.
If in doubt, ring with the make, model and year. If Ian can't do it he'll say so and you've lost nothing but a phone call.
